How to Load .np3 Files
A step-by-step guide for transferring flexible color profiles to your Nikon Z camera using Nikon Transfer Utility.

What you need
A Nikon Z camera that supports Flexible Color Profiles (Z 6, Z 7, Z 8, Z 9, Z f, etc.), a computer, and a USB cable.

Step 1: Download
Download the .np3 file from Z Recipes to your computer.

Step 2: Open Nikon Transfer Utility 2
Connect your camera via USB. Launch Nikon Transfer Utility 2 and select your camera.

Step 3: Send to Camera
Drag and drop the .np3 file into the Send to Camera window. Choose Flexible Color Profile as the destination type.

Step 4: Apply in Camera
On your camera, navigate to the Photo Shooting Menu > Set Picture Control > Flexible Color. Your profile will be ready to use.
